Crock Pot Bacon-Wrapped Apple BBQ Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or 5-6 thighs)
- 8-10 slices bacon
- 5 small apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (we love, love, love Sweet Baby Ray’s)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/8 cup lemon juice
Directions
- Wrap bacon around chicken and place in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Combine apple, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice, and pour mixture over the bacon-wrapped chicken.
- Cook on low for 5-7 hours, or until chicken is done.
